Each follow-up

What happens at a follow-up.

  1. 1

    Check in

Walk in, book through Tebra, or see Doris by video.

  2. 2

    Review your numbers

Blood pressure, how you're feeling, and your recent blood work.

  3. 3

    Adjust and refill

A dose change if you need one, and refills sent to your pharmacy.

  4. 4

    Plan the next check

So you know what comes next and when.

  1. One provider follows your numbers

With diabetes or high blood pressure, the trend matters more than any single reading. Doris sees you every time, so she knows where your numbers have been and what changed. You don't start over with someone new at each visit.

  2. What a follow-up visit looks like

We check your blood pressure and go over how you're doing, how you take your medicines, and any symptoms or side effects. We look at your recent blood work, change a dose if you need it, and send refills to your pharmacy. Then we plan your next check.

  3. Blood work

An A1c shows your average blood sugar over the last three months. A lipid panel shows cholesterol and triglycerides. A metabolic panel checks kidney and liver function and electrolytes. Our $160 annual physical with blood work includes all of these, and Doris goes over the results with you.

  4. In the clinic or by video

Many follow-ups work well by phone or video, including blood pressure and diabetes check-ins, refills and lab results. Telehealth is $60, Sunday through Friday. If we need to see you in person, we'll tell you.

  5. What it costs

A standard office visit is $60 without insurance and a more complex visit is $75. Tests are priced separately. We take most commercial insurance and Medicare, not SoonerCare, and every cash price is posted.
