When to get it
The best time is late September through October, before flu starts circulating widely in Oklahoma. It takes about two weeks to build full protection, so earlier is better than waiting until people around you are already sick. Getting one in December or January is still worthwhile — flu season here often runs into March.
Who should especially get one
Anyone over six months old, but it matters most for adults over 65, pregnant women, children under five, anyone with asthma, diabetes, heart disease or a weakened immune system, and anyone who lives with or cares for someone in those groups.
If you have insurance
Most plans cover the flu vaccine at no cost to you as a preventive service. Bring your card and we bill it. The $30 is the cash price for anyone without coverage, and it is the same vaccine either way.

Yes, we vaccinate children and adults, and we can give a vaccination record for school.
